A Personal Handcrafted Invitation

Every year on Christmas eve, my family gets together for a seafood dinner. Lobster, shrimp and crab! We all buy our own, and for our own children. There are also very dear friends of ours that joined us last year. They are also told that they may join us all the time, they didn't need a written invite! Well....apparently they did....so, I created one. Not only did I write it up and print it out on my computer, I made it into a wall hanging so that they can always remind themselves, that they are invited here no matter what!

Here it is.....

My Huge Weekend!

I would like to thank everyone who supported me this weekend! Very big weekend for me! Now, I'm very very exhausted!!!! lol!!!!

Friday was a workshop up in Salisbury Center! Wonderful woman, and little girls who all got excited about the Big Shot!!!! I have a feeling the husbands are not so thrilled with me! Sorry!

Saturday was the Marion Crouch Memorial/Newport Fireman Craft Fair! Not as many in attendance, at I didn't think so. Not very lucrative for me, but it was good to see all the people out and about looking for different gifts for Christmas! And of course, the big man himself...Santa Claus!!!!!

Sunday was the 3rd Annual Christmas Cramp Stamp Camp!
The pictures on the display board are those cards. Sorry, not easy to see.
8 women and 1 teen all creating the most beautiful christmas cards!!!
Thanks to my upline Kelly for creating these cards!!!
Everyone had a ball! And thanks to Lynette from The Blue Rose Restaurant on RT 28 Poland/Newport, for allowing us to use her dining room! If you ever want a great home cooked meal, that's the place to go!!!!

See you next time! Off to eat dinner, and think up the next big event!

Have Your Cake and Eat It Too!!

Here is a picture of a cake I made with an idea from another sudsoler/demonstrator...Jen Clendineng. I love her name, it's close to my maiden name....Clendenin! lol....

Ok....here it is.....

And you can "eat" this cake made of paper? Yes! Well, the inside! There is candy in every slice! As well as in some, there are coupons to receive extra hostess benefits if you book a party with me!!! This great cake will be at the West Canada Valley School Craft Fair tomorrow from 9-5!!!! So stop by and check it out! As well as lots of other things i'll have on display and for sale!

Oh and check this out....

...I made these the other day from retired chocolate chip note cards! The idea just came to me, as I was putting together a gift basket for a chinese auction. A friend that I work with asked if I could donate something, and when i heard it was to benefit the family of a friend of hers, I said sure. Why? Because her friend passes away at the age of 23 from Cystic Fibrosis...how sad, and so young.

Ok, before I cry,...it's time to continue getting ready for my huge weekend!!!

See you and thanks for stopping by!!!!

I GOT IT, I GOT IT!!!

I finally got the delivery I've been waiting for....MY BIG SHOT IS HERE!!! There is still a backordered die on it's way, no one could have anticipated that everyone on the face of the God given planet would want these machines all at once! But, we do, and Sizzix and Stampin' Up! are working diligently to get these out as soon as humanly possible! So for now, I have mine...i'm working on the first class for those lucky few in this first Big Shot Club, and I'll let you know when! In the meantime, I want to keep this on schedule, so i'll be collecting for the next round next Friday the 14th!

First picture is the inside of the beautiful bag! It's Pink!!!

This bag is enormous! Not only does it hold the machine, but it has room for a lot of stuff as well! Inside pockets, outside pockets...room gallore!!! And just to give you an idea of how big the bag is, look at it compared to my cordless phone!
Here is the whole kit, minus one die. The Top Note Bigz die is on backorder, and should be coming shortly!

Ok, off to go play!!!! See, this is the good thing that happens when you go and do your civic duty!

The Annual Christmas Cramp Stamp Camp!

Yes, Yes, Yes....we are going to be having the Christmas Cramp Stamp Camp! I am working on a date and time, and place....as soon as i have all that down, i will post it here, and let everyone know!

Monday, October 20, 2008

Good evening....looking for me? Sorry, I've been a little busy! Had 2 of the precious granddaughters today...so it's pretty hard to watch them and do any fun stuff on the computer! My fun stuff has to consist of watching the youngest granddaughter learn to walk without holding on to my finger!!! She's doing it, slowly, but she's doing it!

So, what's this you ask? This is a CD cube picture holder! It's made with 4 regular size cd holders, not the slim jewel ones. The credit goes to these two ladies...http://www.staceystamps.com/stacey_stamps/2008/09/tutorial-for-cd-photo-cube.html and http://paperjewels.blogspot.com/2008/06/cd-photo-cube-tutorial.html.

You can do almost anything with this fun piece....decorate it for any holiday, fill it goodies and give it as a gift. Or find those odd pictures, scrapbook them and put them in it! Use it as a pencil holder on your desk!!! You'll have so much fun making this, you won't believe it! It's really easy! Took me less than an hour!!!! (Yes, one gd was napping and the other was outside playing with grampa....I wasn't ignoring them! :0) )

Have fun!

World Card Making Day!

This was an awesome day at my house! My mother and my friend Pam were the only 2 to attend, but we can have so much fun and laughter with just the 3 of us, that we consider everyone else that couldn't attend.....to have totally missed out!!!!!! (Patti......noninonibooboo!!!) heheehheehe!

No, she is not doing what you think....that's her bone folder! SHEESH MOM!

Sorry, had to be a child for a second!

And oh...just had another little bit of jealousy to the pot....i made fried zucchini....and you will notice there is a purple colander and a little crock on the table next to my mom....the colander had strawberries and bananas in it....in the crock? Melted chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I think my mom had more chocolate on her cards than ink! LOL!!!

So,here are the cards we made:

I loved making the little flowers using the scallop circle punch! And then showing the girls how to make the little leaves with the little oval punch and the running them through the crimper! It was a WOW factor for them!

Mom is attempting to punch little 1/16 holes into each scallop to make the scallop lace border. Why is she laughing? She can't punch a straight line to save her life! But, it was a beautiful card mommy!

And so...after 3 hours of laughter, chocolate fingers and lots and lots of fun....our party came to a close! I do hope to see more people at our next function, which is Stamp-a-Ssage at Pam's house! Stamping is free...massages are a $1/minute!!!!!

Just Caseing!

Yes, caseing...Copy and steal everything....I prefer the term inspired by....but that doesn't work in the term Case! hehehehe! Anyway.....I absolutely love, LOVE, LOVE these little spiders shared by Lisa Freeman on her blog...thanks Lisa! These are made with the scallop circle punch, 1/2" and 1/4" circle punch, and the photo corner punch, and peppermint patties! I made a bunch for favors for this weekends stamp-a-stack! How fun this is going to be!!

Next, I recreated this card:
I originally saw this from Andrea Walford. She used a different paper though for the pink pirouette and the stems and leaves. I couldn't find it, so just stamped all over pink pirouette and certainly celery cs with whisper white ink and used the Baroque Motifs stamp set. You will also notice a new button!! From the new Button Bouquet. The inside fits a half pearl from the pretties kit! Want to learn how to make this little beauty? Call and book a party! And I'd do it quick, my time is being booked up fast!
